In my previous post, I’ve written about Making a Photograph and taking a photograph, so in this case I’m making a photograph while having dinner with my family at Kota Kinabalu Sabah. The location of this food stalls is just next to Kota Kinabalu Wet Market and not very far from the big iconic Marlin fish statue.

Why I call this “making a photograph”? I chose the right location where I can get the fishing boats in view and also this area is quite bright for me to use the natural light without using flash, in fact I don’t have flash with me, and then I wait until there is a foods on the  table to add context to this photograph and I think the addition of the food is great to fills the empty table, in case you wanted to know what’s on the plate, it is a chicken wings and next to it is a sauce or ketchup.

There you have it, a very simple “making a photograph” approach from me, I’m a photographer by profession and whenever I go out with my family, I’ve always have this photographic vision on my mind even while having a dinner. After taking the photograph, I can enjoy the meals and the view.
