Family Photography | Having Fun At The Beach | Pantai Tengah Langkawi

© 2014 Wazari Wazir | My Family Having Fun at Pantai Tengah Langkawi This is our second time we spent our holiday as a family in Langkawi. Second time for HaiQal, my eldest son and first time for three year old Raphael and one year old Arianna, my only daughter. Travel Photography | Once Upon a Time at Swayambhunath Stupa | Kathmandu Valley | Nepal

© 2012 Wazari Wazir | Travel Photography | Swayambhunath Stupa | Monkey Temple | Kathmandu Valley | Nepal The Swayambhunath Stupa is one of the crowning glories of Kathmandu Valley architecture. The entire structure of the stupa is symbolic, the white dome represents the earth, while the 13-tiered, beehive like structure at the top symbolises the 13 stages that humans must passthrough to achieve nirvana. The site has two access points: a long stairway, claimed to have 365 steps, leading directly to the main platform of the temple, which is from the top of the hill to the east; and a car road around the hill from the south leading…

Why Travel? | Life is a Journey | Once Upon a Time in Kashmir

© 2012 Wazari Wazir | Once Upon a Time in Kashmir | Dal Lake Kashmir “People from all over the world have passed through this village, son,” said his father. “They come in search of new things, but when they leave they are basically the same people they were when they arrived. They climb the mountain to see the castle, and they wind up thinking that the past was better than what we have now. They have blond hair, or dark skin, but basically they’re the same as the people who live right here.” “But I’d like to see the castles in the towns where they live,” the boy explained.…
