© 2014 Wazari Wazir | Malaysia’s King Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah and Singapore’s President Tony Tan review the guards of honour during a welcome ceremony at the Istana or Presidential Palace in Singapore On May 19, 2014. The Malaysian King is Singapore for a three-day state visit.

Most of my friends won’t believe me when I told them that this is the first time I set my foot at Singapore, our neighbour. Yes, it’s true, that I’ve never visited Singapore before, be it on official work or for personal visit. Singapore is just less than one hour flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport but it seem so far away for me.

I always think that Singapore is an expensive country to visit and I just don’t know what will be my focus in term of photography if I ever visit here again. I’m not into landscape or cityscape kind of photography. To those of you who like modern building, high skyscrappers photography, then maybe you should visit Singapore, there are a lot of them. In term of transportation, most of the destination are easily accessible with MRT.

Anyway, I’m in Singapore recently for an assignment, coverage of State Visit of Malaysia’s King Abdul Halim to Singapore. Trust me, if it were not for the assignment, I don’t know when will I set my feet on Singapore land.

Compared to India, especially New Delhi, Singapore City Centre is too clean for me, too comfortable for me, too easy for me, given the choice, I will choose to Visit India again and again and never get tired of it. I’ve been to India twice.

But maybe I will visit Singapore again with my family, not specifically for photographic purpose but because there are a lot of attractions for  family. Like a great Singapore Zoo and Night Safari, the Universal Studios and a lot of museum that have an exhibition that cater for children. Currently at ArtSciense Museum Singapore at Marina Bay Sands, held a Dinosaurs Dawn to Extinction Exhibition starting from 25 January – 28 July 2014. I think that one will attract my children,  apart from The Famous Universal Studious. There is also a new attraction in Singapore, which is Gardens by The Bay.

*One Last Thing, don’t forget to vote my blog (So that I can continuelly share my experience)  for : DiGi WWWOW Awards
