Portrait of My Son | Untitled Expression

There is a great joy for me whenever I mange to take a picture of my son, I’ve written again and again, how difficult it is to take a picture of my son lately, he is so active and I’ve to obey when he said “No” to photograph, he is a big boy now, he can hide and he can run but I will definitely get his photograph no matter how hard it is.

As many people who have been following my blog already knew that, I’m a full time working photographer for the Government of Malaysia, in fact I’ve so many picture to share especially work related but I don’t find it to be interesting to share it here, some people hate politics, some people hate politician, so I think it is better for me to share the other side of the story, something that I like to do other than my profession.

You may notice that my style have not change so much, yes it is still more or less the same but one thing for sure the expression and the moment captured is not the same, my son face change overtime, his mood change, sometimes he is smiling, there was a time he is crying and sometimes he is serious looking. This photograph were taken just after we came back from shopping mall, where they have a promotion about “Pirate of Caribbean Film” and they give kids those eyes mask where my son is holding it there.

I like the expression and I like the moment where my son holding the mask, it is the moment and the expression that make this picture different, at least to me as his father, I can only say from my very own perspective, you may have your very own perspective and I’ve my own.
