“And that’s the wonderful thing about family travel, it provides you with experiences that will remain locked forever in the scar tissue of your mind”.

( Dave Barry )

Portraiture is not about head and shoulder, sometimes we need to show our subject with it’s surroundings, where the picture is taken and what was the surroundings look like. If we travel as a tourist try to find a great background and is possible a landmark about that particular place, your subject may look small in the frame, that’s ok because the main purpose is to show where the picture is taken.

The place that we have been today may not be the same as tomorrow r maybe not as the same as next ten years, there maybe some development taking place, there maybe new building erected somewhere where once we stood for a photographed, we will never knew. Things change so does the people, maybe the place is still the same but we grew up, we getting old and my son will be a little bit taller in the next few years. Location portraiture will always bring back memory more than just a head and shoulder shot whereby only our face keep on changing. Location portraiture have a story to tell on their own and always a great subjects for a conversation when friends comes and visiting our home.
