Nowadays I try as much as I can to take a photograph of my children with an environmental background,  something that add context to the picture, something that have story to tell. When I’ve my first child HaiQal, we didn’t have any mean of transportation, I mean we don’t have a car, so it can be quite difficult for us to going somewhere using a public transportation, that’s why most of HaiQal pictures back then were taken around my house, normally just a close up portrait of my son alone or with his mother.

To be honest with you guys, actually when it comes to my children photography, I like to have an environmental portrait of them, where they have been to, their surrounding, all thins things gives context to the photograph and has a lot more story to tell than just a close up portrait shot of them.

I’ve had written quite few post regarding an environmental portraiture, hopefully you may return to them if you wanted to get into details but if you have no time for that, hopefully this visual story of my children having fun at tea plantation in Cameron Highlands Pahang will do justice.
