“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life – and travel – leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks – on your body or on your heart – are beautiful. Often, though, they hurt.”

– Anthony Bourdain –

I’ve mention previously that we spend the one night here in Sherpa Hotel Bamboo, there are few small hotel here in Bamboo and Sherpa Hotel is the first one that you will encounter if you are coming from Syabrubesi, actually we met one of Sherpa Hotel owner family member in en route to Bamboo and she insists upon us to stay at her hotel.

This is a small hotel, no electricity here, so if you plan to trek in the Langtang Valley, I highly recommended to you guys to carry a torchlight and not to forget bring along a candle, we don’t carry a candle with us, so we have to asked the hotel owner for a candle sticks, otherwise, we will be sleeping in the dark. So keep in mind about that.

Don’t worry if you running out of power bar or snacks, you can buy it here, Sneakers, Mars and also a can of Red Bull. With that in mind, you don’t have to bring along a lot of foods from Syabrybesi, yes, of course the higher you go, the more you will pay and the price will also a bit higher once you get higher, all this happens because those hotel operators have to pay a large sum of money to a porters to get the items from Syabrubesi to their hotels.

There is also a restaurant here, I mean Sherpa Hotel Restaurant and talking about the foods, personally it is good enough for me, I don’t know about my other friends experience about the foods here, I can only talk about my experience, I just have egg fried rice for our luck once we arrived at the hotel from Syabrubesi and I did ordered the same menu for my dinner, some of my friends option for chapatis and noodles.
