All of the picture above were taken with iPhone 4 with Cross Process Apps , so I don’t need to do the editing in Photoshop. This are the picture that coming straight from the iphone with the help of the Cross Process apps. There was a time when I was a little bit lazy to take a photograph of my son with my big heavy DSLR and furthermore my son get tired of it, so with this small little gadget, I can really get close to my son without becoming too “official”and the best part is that, I didn’t get the unwanted attention from my neighbor because they think I just playing with my mobile phone and it was common to have a mobile phone here in my neighborhood.

It’s cumbersome and tricky to get a picture of my son in this tricky backlighting situation but I like the challenge, what’s the fun is taking a picture without any challenge. Actually I just got back from work and when I saw my son busy playing around, I juts don’t want to miss this moment, I just take out the iPhone from my pocket and start shooting.

Off-course the quality of the picture that came out from the iPhone is not the same as what you can get from any compact camera or DSLR but when it comes to capturing the moment, any camera will do it as long as it can take a picture and for me the quality that came from the iPhone is decent enough to be shared online, you can still see the face of my son, you can still see what’s my son is doing, you can see the expression of my son and if the photograph can tell a story, it is a good photograph. I know that the quality of this digital image can’t be used for billboard size advertisement but that’s a different story. What’s most important things for me is that, “The Moment is Captured” and nothing else matters.
