© 2014 Wazari Wazir | Beautiful Moscow Metro Stations | All Photographs Taken With Fujifilm X100T The Moscow Metro dates back to 1931, when its construction began, although engineers Pyotr Balinsky and Evgeny Knorre submitted their first designs to the Moscow City Duma as far back as 1902. On May 15, 1935, 18 years after the Bolshevik revolution, the Metro threw open its doors and carried its first passengers down its escalators and on to its new wagons with padded seats. The first Metro line – running from Sokolniki to Dvorets Sovetov (now Kropotkinskaya) – was 11km (seven miles) long and had 13 stations. The Metro now has a track…

Photojournalism | The Politicians at The Parliament

© 2015 Wazari Wazir | The Politicians at The Parliament While browsing through The Bigger Picture book by Diana Walker , a White House Photographer for TIME magazine, I really feel inspired and at the same time felt jealous about the photograph that she took, her subject look so relax and so casual. It really shows their subject character as a normal human being despite holding a very important position in the states. Walker’s aim is to tell you something about the people, shedding light on aspects of their character you might not have noticed, or reinforcing opinions you already had. Actually I do have a quite number of a…
