Father and Son | A Walk To Remember
© 2010 Rujiah Muhin (Wife) | Jetty Sawangan | Kuala Penyu | Sabah “A photograph never grows old. You and I change, people change all through the months and years but a photograph always remains the same. How nice to look at a photograph of mother or father taken many years ago. You see them as you remember them. But as people live on, they change completely. That is why I think a photograph can be kind.” – Albert Einstein – Have you ever wondered why there is not many picture of me and my son here on my Blog or on my Flickr site? You might think that I…

No Mountain Too High
© 2010 Wazari Wazir | Mesilau Sabah | Mount Kinabalu © 2010 Wazari Wazir | Mesilau Sabah | Mount Kinabalu I still can remember quite clearly the very first time I came to Sabah in May 2002 and straight away I fall in love with this place. I like the hospitality of the peoples here. I like the weather and most importantly I like the Mountain, I mean I like Mount Kinabalu but on my first visit here I don’t have the opportunity to see Mount Kinabalu because I was on assignment and don’t have much time to wandering around, but deep in my heart, I said it to myself…

Built Rapport With The People You Photograph
I’ve the opportunity attending Public Talk by Steve McCurry at Islamic Arts Museum Malaysia Kuala Lumpur in conjunction with his latest exhibition title A Common Faith: Steve McCurry’s Travels through the Muslim World on 7th January 2010. Steve McCurry is very famous with his Afghan girl portrait but I’m not going to talk about that picture. What I’m interested is how Steve approach his subject or in this case, people he photograph. Steve tells us that we must respect the person we photograph, they are not a “Subject”, they are just a person, normal human being like the rest of us and deserved to be treat as one. Don’t just…

Istanbul | Istiklal Caddesi
This is among my favorite picture of Istiklal Caddesi in Istanbul, there are a lot of peoples here, you really can get lost in time here, watching people doing their business along the street or simply watching people just enjoy walking here. Definitely this is a must visit place for any traveler or tourist who come and visit Istanbul apart from most common tourist attraction like Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya at Sultanahmet. People here really doesn’t bother so much of you taking picture of them, maybe most people here are so accustomed with photographers taking their picture, after all, this is among the most popular tourist attraction in Taksim…
