© 2016 Wazari Wazir | Tourist Inside Putra Mosque | Putrajaya | Malaysia “Mengapa Anda Tidak Perlu Kamera Yang Mahal Untuk Keluar Mengembara.” So saya pilih singgah kat masjid ni.

Kembara Nepal | Kisah Benar Langtang Aku Datang

© 2016 Wazari Wazir | Kembara Nepal | Langtang National Park “Buat apa kat jambatan ni?” We have a light breakfast here after finish our jogging around the palm plantation. About the menu, there is not much in term of choice,…

Travel and Photography | Mah Meri Puja Pantai Ritual | Pulau Carey

© 2016 Wazari Wazir | Members of Malaysia’s Indigenous Mah Meri Tribe During Puja Pantai Ritual “Puja Pantai” means appeasing the spirits of the seas. The ritual started many years ago when a “tongkang” (ship) carrying passengers and supplies was caught in a big storm of the Carey Island coast, near to Tanjung Rhu faces the Malacca Straits. None of the islanders thought that the ship would survive the storm. To their surprise the ship appears to be dragged to the shores by some unknown forces into safety during the storm. Following that incident the villagers believed that “Moyang Getah” (Spirit of the Rubber) had saved the ship and its…

Travel And Photography | Mah Meri Tribe, Puja Pantai Ritual | Pulau Carey

© 2016 Wazari Wazir | Members of Malaysia’s Indigenous Mah Meri Tribe Walk On The Beach During Puja Pantai Ritual Some of my photographer friends once said that we don’t have to travel outside Malaysia to get a great picture. Yes, it was true, I’ve nothing to argue, in fact we can get some good picture inside our home, or just within the boundary of our home. Take for an example, macro photography, I think you can find plenty of great creatures within the compound of our home. We can also get world recognition by just photographing our kids close to our home, you don’t need a passport for that. Take…
