Another hectic schedules for me and my colleague here in Malaysia on 22nd August 2014, covering the arrival of the first 20 bodies of Malaysian MH17 victims here in Malaysia.  This is The first repatriation of victims from Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 to the country, our government has urged people to wear black and observe a minute of silence and prayer. A charted Malaysian Airlines MH6129 jet arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport from Amsterdam, where the bodies of all the victims were first taken.

The flight touch down at  9:54 AM but the media covering this ceremony need to be here at our position as early as 8:15AM. Before that we were given a short briefing about the ceremony, the do’s and don’t. Most of the photographers were seen carrying a complete camera equipment, from wide angle lens to super telephoto 400/500 mm lens. Some of our position were a bit far from the airplane and in order to get a close up view of the pallbearers, the coffins or some of the family members of the MH17 victims, we need a telephoto lens, we are not allowed to move freely here and there. We have to sticks to our position from the beginning of the ceremony until its finish.
