Kuala Lumpur is joining other major cities in the world to feature the Horse & Carriage Ride in the city. Where tourist can enjoy a classic experience in KL and  enjoy open-air carriage ride, pulled by beautiful horses throughout the city’s heritage trail lined with 12 scenic historic buildings. The horse were specially brought in from Belgium, while the carriages were imported from Istanbul, Turkey. To those of you who have been to Prince’s Island in Istanbul will definitely wanted to try out this one. It won’t be easy though, because unlike horse ride in Prince’s Island where there is no public cars, this one will be going through the heart of the city centre with busy traffics, and I think will be a challenges.

Anyway the horses have fully acclimatised to the Malaysian weather and have been trained to pull the carriages amidst Kuala Lumpur’s busy traffic. So, you don’t have to worry about it, but if I were get caught in the traffic, while riding the horse drawn carriage, I wouldn’t mind, would not complained.

The KL Horse & Carriage Ride will commence from the 15th March 2014 onwards with schedule rides in the morning (between 10 am – 11.30am) and afternoon rides between 3 pm and 4.30pm. Tickets for the ride are priced at RM50.00 per person or RM200.00 for the whole carriage and can be purchased at the Kuala Lumpur City Galley Counter
