Before that, I’m not ashamed to admit that our group is the last group reaching the Summit of Mount Kinabalu on 5th December 2013, which is at Low’s Peak. Why? We are not in a race and we are not here to set some records, we just wanted to enjoy every bits of the journey and furthermore, the weather was so great and we can spend  a lot of times at the peaks taking photographs among ourselves. There were just three of us, Me, Ahmad Shukri and Shukur Jahar and our mountain guide Saiun Limondok.

Ok, now back to new year resolution, anyway since most of you here are quite regular, actually to be honest with you, I think most travellers have no new year resolution, why? Most of them have already planned their dream destination a few month ahead, some have even bought a lot of flight tickets for the whole year. They try to fills out  every free time or annual leaves that they have to travel here and there.

Most people to travel here and there, but they didn’t make a plan, If you really wanted to achieve your goal, you really need to plan ahead. Actually you need to plan it last year not this year. For me, I do planning this year 2014 for 2015. So you get my idea.

If you have always wanted to climb  a Mount Kinabalu, all you have to do is stop dreaming, do your research or of if you have done so, just make a reservation, make a payment and then just sit back and relax, and don’t forget also to start training. The point is to take action.

When do you want to go? Do you like winter, spring, summer or  autumn, set your goal and pick one that you like. If you didn’t like winter, then choose summer. If you have never seen a snow, then I suggest to visit any country which  have snows, yes it is cold but you can never tell how cold is cold without experience it yourself.

A lot of people think that you need to have a lot of money to travel the world, yes you need money to travel the word, nothing is free, unless for a certain cases where someone win a trips to Disneyland where everything is covered but for most of us, we do need to fork out some money to travel the world. The least that you need to pay is to get a passport, I don’t know whether there is a country in this world, who give a free passport to its citizen to travel the world.

So if you don’t have a passport then make one today, take action now. When you have the passport, you already have the “ticket” to travel the world but you also need a flight ticket to go somewhere. “Have passport will travel”.

Like I said before most travellers have already plan their destination, a places where they want to go few month ahead, and most of them also bought a tickets few month ahead, some even a year ahead. Why? This is to save some money, normally when we bought a travel tickets few month ahead, the flight tickets is a bit more affordable, compared to the last minute shopping.

Sometimes there is a FREE Seats flight ticket promotions from Airlines, all you have to pay is some airport tax but still, cheap enough. Sometimes you can travel within Asia from as low as RM500. You can visit Bali Indonesia from Malaysia for less than RM100 for a return tickets. You can also travel to Kathmandu Nepal for less than RM1000 Return from Malaysia.

If you really committed to travel, desperately wanted to achieved your dream, maybe you need to make a habit for searching a flight ticket, I do it almost everyday and my most favourite website to look for cheap flight ticket is through SKYSCANNER . I use it almost everyday, there is an apps for your mobile phone, android and iPhone. Once you found the right price for your preferred destination, then just book and make payment.

Research, If you travel independently, then you need to do your own research, nobody will do it for you, unless you choose to travel with a travel agency. Actually you should do the research before you bought the tickets, so you know where you wanted to go, but some people just bought the tickets first and then only they do research.
