Once I get back from Langtang Nepal, I don’t have much time to rest, in fact I was busy covering UMNO United Malays Organisation’s Annual Gathering in Kuala Lumpur from November 27 to 1st December 2012. Since the gathering will not be much of interest to most of you who visited my blog here, I just wanted to share with you, how photojournalist work during the assignment.

Normally among the standard photography equipments for this type of assignment is to carry a hefty 300mm, 400mm, 500mm or even the 600mm lens to get a close up shots of the participants when they deliver their speech, other than that we did carry our standard photojournalist equipment which is 16-35mm, 14-24mm, 24-70mm and not to forget a must have lens for photojournalist which is 70-200mm. Some photographers that I met there did carry three camera bodies equipped with 70-200m, 16-35mm and also 400mm lens, it takes a lot of energy to carry those things around but we have to do what we have to do.

This is my profession when I’m not traveling, you can spot me on one of this kind of assignment, if you didn’t see me then, maybe I’m somewhere lost in India or Himalaya…
