Normally I don’t share this kind of a picture but to me this is something different, I grew up here in Pekan Sungai Besi, this is the place that I received my first education, this is the place that I learn ABC from the primary school nearby and this is the place that I normally take my family to have lunch, dinner or just to buy some grocery items.

It is my great pleasure and feel honored to be given this assignment to cover this memorable walkabout by our Deputy Prime Minister, Muhyiddin Yassin. The walkabout start from Ibnu Khaldun Mosque (Masjid Jamek Ibnu Khaldun) towards the hawkers area nearby, where I get my groceries.

Yes I know that this picture is not “Awesome”, “Wow”, “Amazing”, “Breathtaking”, “Great Shot”, but nevertheless it’s brings a sentimental value and I’m glad that I was there to witness and photographs this memorable walkabout.

UPDATED : The quaint township of Sungai Besi is headed for a major facelift which will see it being developed, cleaned up and reorganised while staying true to its heritage. The redevelopment, which is scheduled to start in August 2015, will cost an estimated RM10 million and take a year and a half to complete, according to  mayor Datuk Seri Ahmad Phesal Talib on 25th November 2013.
