This is among favorite spot for Kota Kinabalu folks to enjoy beautiful sunset view. Another place for great sunset view in Kota Kinabalu is at Tanjung Aru beach, approximately ten minute drive from here, the big Marlin fish. To those of you who have never been here and planning to visit Kota Kinababu in the near future, I highly suggest you to visit this place.

This is the first time, I took this picture with iPhone, normally I will use m DSLR to capture this big Marlin fish silhouette against a beautiful sunset but this time I decided to give iPhoneography a try. I’m not alone here, I’m with Azman Jumat enjoy taking picture with iPhone, it was small and easy to carry around and we both would like to know how good iPhone can deal with sunset photography and I was quite astound with the quality of the photograph coming out from the iPhone. For such a small device, this quality is more than good enough.

Above photograph were taken with Cross Prosess Apps and the middle photograph were edited in Photoshop and the last photograph were Classic Instagram shot. What I like best about iPhoneography is that, we have so many choice when it comes to Photography Apps, with juts the touch of a button or just a tap on the screen, our picture get a beautiful treatment from the apps that we choose and what I like best about Cross Prosess Apps is that, the original photograph is left untouched, meaning that the apps save both pictures, the original and the edited one.

I was in Kota Kota Kinabalu Sabah to conduct a Photography and Photoshop Workshops together with Spylens Studio on May 14 and 15. The middle photograph above which I do the editing in Photoshop were using one of my technique that can be found on my Photoshop Tone eBook
